Information We Collect

The information FotoFidelity handles depends on the features you choose to use.

• Images you select or submit for analysis, including the image bytes available from the selected source.
• Image-related information needed to generate a report, such as file format, dimensions, metadata, content credentials, watermark or provenance signals, compression characteristics, and analysis results.
• Scan history and reports you choose to keep in the app.
• Anonymous or aggregated analytics about app usage and performance, where enabled.
• Crash diagnostics, device and operating-system information, error logs, and technical data used to maintain reliability.
• Messages and contact information you provide when requesting support.

FotoFidelity does not sell images submitted for analysis or use them to build advertising profiles.

How Images Are Used

Images are used only as needed to provide the FotoFidelity features you request.

• Perform supported local, on-device checks without uploading the image.
• Temporarily process a copy to prepare it for an opted-in cloud analysis.
• Inspect metadata, content credentials, known provenance signals, and supported AI watermarks.
• Analyze visual patterns, textures, edges, lighting, and compression characteristics.
• Combine independent signals into an explainable, probabilistic report.
• Prevent abuse, enforce applicable usage limits, and maintain service security.

When cloud visual analysis is enabled, a processed copy may be transmitted to our analysis service and an external AI provider. FotoFidelity presents this disclosure before the transmission and allows you to decline.

Retention and Deletion

Local scan history and reports remain on your device until you remove them through available app controls, clear app data, or uninstall the app, subject to normal device backup behavior.

Images sent for cloud analysis are retained only for the period reasonably necessary to perform the requested analysis, operate and secure the service, enforce limits, and satisfy legal obligations. Where the processing system supports it, transient image copies are configured for automatic deletion after processing. Limited technical logs may be kept longer when they do not contain the submitted image itself.

Third-party service providers may apply their own documented retention periods. See “Third-Party Services” below and contact us if you want information about a specific processing path.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled by FotoFidelity. These safeguards include encrypted transport for cloud requests, access controls, service monitoring, and secure development and operational practices.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Although we follow industry best practices appropriate to the nature of the service, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

FotoFidelity may rely on service providers to deliver specific functions. Depending on the feature and app configuration, these may include:

• OpenAI or another external AI analysis provider for opted-in cloud visual review.
• Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, device services, and platform functionality.
• Hosting, storage, security, and content-delivery providers used to operate the analysis service.
• Analytics and crash-diagnostics providers used to understand reliability and improve performance.

These providers process information under their own privacy terms and our service arrangements. We limit information shared with providers to what is reasonably necessary for the requested feature or operational purpose.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how your personal information is handled.

• Decline cloud visual analysis and use available on-device checks.
• Choose not to submit an image or stop an analysis where the app allows.
• Delete local scan history and reports through available app controls.
• Manage app permissions, analytics choices, and device settings through iOS.
• Contact support@dilladev.com to make a data request or ask a privacy question.

We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or recordkeeping.

Children's Privacy

FotoFidelity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided personal information through FotoFidelity, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when FotoFidelity, its processing methods, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at this URL and revise the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate notice.
